The game site Aeropause Games has reported that Akira Yamaoka has left Konami. He has been working with Konami for the past 16 years and has made some fantastic music for the Silent Hill series, as well as sounds.

If this turns out to be true it will be a disappointing loss, where will he take his talent next? We'll let you know when we know if it is true or false. We will try and get an answer from Konami about Akira, if he did leave we'll try to find out why.
