Rumor: No LEGO Harry Potter in '09, But Maybe Another LEGO Indiana Jones

Despite that Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is due to finally release in theaters in 2009, it seems that there will be no LEGO Harry Potter game to coincide with the anticipated film. That's according to Eurogamer, who has an anonymous source saying that Traveller's Tales has no plans to release such a game in the next 12 months, at least.
Harry Potter has been viewed as an obvious candidate for the LEGO treatment since Warner, which makes the Potter movies, bought Traveller's Tales in November 2007. Electronic Arts will release a game based on the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince movie due this summer, and its deal with Warner could have an impact on the development of any additional Potter-branded games in the short term. -- Eurogamer
Interestingly enough, Eurogamer rumors that Traveller's Tales does have plans for a new installment in the LEGO Indiana Jones series, though. When asked about such a game, producer Loz Doyle responded, "You never know. There's always the possibility that we would revisit a franchise. And you never know, it might not be the end of Star Wars, it might not be the end of Indy - we keep our options open."
I would rather see a LEGO Harry Potter than another LEGO Indy. I did like LEGO Indiana Jones, but I feel that the Indy franchise and LEGO property didn't mesh together as well as Star Wars did, and thus it was a bit of a step backwards for the LEGO games. With Harry Potter, though, and all the magic spells such a game would feature, there's a lot of potential.
