It's the spiritual successor to the Marvel vs. Capcom games, and we may not even get it.

This video shows off a number of characters from both the Capcom and the Tatsunoko (oldschool anime studio responsible for the likes of Speed Racer, Robotech, Gatchaman, and more), as well as a full match set in one of Capcom's favorite games to tease, the Gesellschaft from MegaMan Legends (which hopefully alludes to an appearance by Tron, maybe one of the Mega Men).

But will we ever get it in the US? That's something of a two-fold question. For starters, it seems no platforms have been announced for a home version, and so with the death of arcades across North America, it seems unlikely we'll see the arcade version.

The second part is a matter of rights, as there could be complications through the different companies which have licensed Tatsunoko content over the years. Capcom's Corporate Officer and Vice-president of Strategic Planning & Business Development, Christian Svensson says that in spite of these hurdles, they are investigating them.
