Game blog Siliconera has discovered a tasty bit of information. It seems that a rating for Lost Planet Colonies has appeared on the official ESRB website. What's so strange about this? Capcom hasn't officially announced any such game. However, this is not the first time there has been rumblings of a Lost Planet Colonies game. In May of last year, Capcom registered a trademark for a game with this title, and since then, the industry has just assumed it is a forthcoming installment/expansion of some kind in the Lost Planet franchise. While there are no official details to go by – we don't even know if it's a sequel or an expansion – we do know the game is rated T, thanks to the ESRB. What's more, it's rated for the same content as the original Lost Planet, which released in early 2007: Animated Blood, Mild Language and Violence
Making matters more interesting, 1UP contacted Capcom for comment on all this and was met with a very suspicious response – an e-mail with just the image on the right. Weird, no?
More as we get it.
